Free entrance to all National Parks in Canada in 2017

As Canada celebrates next year its 150th anniversary, the national parks throughout the country will be open to visitors for free!

Any annual pass bought in 2016 will be valid for two years from the date of purchase.
The decision applies to nearly 100 parks, marine conservation areas and historic sites that normally charge entry fees.

Now, an annual Discovery Pass for an adult costs 67.70 CAD (roughly 44), while children between age 6 and 16 pay 33.30 CAD (aprox. 21.50).

Starting from 2018, people under 18 will be granted permanent free entrance to Canadian national parks.
